The character of Jake Oliver nearly parallels that of Stanton

Jacobs' own career with over 40 years working in the lodging

and hospitality industry globally.  Throughout his career he has

encountered many unique challenges and unexpected mysteries

at each of the hotels and resorts that he has managed. 

 

Jacobs published his first novel VOYAGE OF DECEPTION in 2003, and his second, A FAMIILY’S DECEPTION in 2011.  With each novel, the reader will identify with the main character, Jake Oliver, and the colorful characters that will keep you guessing throughout. Jacobs' third novel, ECHO OF THE PAST, is currently in production!

Additionally, Jacobs has published Volume One of a book about his family memories by the request of his daughters.  Jacobs has also published a series of White Papers Articles on LinkedIn regarding hospitality leadership and management.
